I pledge to transform Texas into a haven of opportunity, prosperity, progress...a better Texas.

Rick Perry: The Texas of the 21st century must be a place that invites all, a place where vivid dreams and bold ideas await their realization.  My vision is not to merely celebrate that progress, but to advance it.

We are a people of tremendous resources and we are never content with the accomplishments of yesterday because tomorrow represents our greater hope.  The promise of tomorrow begins today.

Notes:  This is a very slick production, a cross between a convention and visitors bureau promo and a trailer for a high budget action movie.  According to news accounts, the video was shown to groups of potential donors and bundlers who came to Texas for presentations as Perry's tenure as governor was winding down.
