[Phone Rings].

Voice: Hello.

Sanders: Hi.  Kinsey?  This is Sen. Bernie Sanders.  How are ya?

Kinsey: I'm wonderful, [inaud.] Senator.  How are you doing?

Sanders: I'm great.  Listen.  As you know, I'm just calling you to thank you very much for your contribution to my campaign for president.  You are, as I understand it, the 100,000th campaign contributor.

Kinsey: Oh, that's [inaud.]  There's more like us.

Sanders: Yeah.  Say, I'm just...listen, you're what, a park ranger in Florida?

Kinsey: Yes sir I am.  I live in [inaud.] Florida, so a very conservative part of Florida but it is still part of Florida.

Sanders: [laughs] Well listen, what we're trying to do in this campaign is to show that we can win an election without being dependent on you know billionaires and people who make million-dollar contributions to super PACs.  So you know we are raising a good amount of money from people like you, folks who don't have a lot of money, and your $10 contribution to me is extremely important and we're going to use it well.

Kinsey: Oh, I appreciate it.  I will [inaud.] again, that's just all I had at the moment.

Sanders: [laughs]

Kinsey: Everything I can do to help from you know small donations like that to just word of mouth or whatever...

Sanders: I'm not hitting you up, now; I'm just thanking you, and ...

Kinsey: I know, I know; it's what I wanted to do.

Sanders: Okay, and get the word out.  Look, I think we can win this thing when ordinary people begin to stand up and fight for a government that represents all of us and not just the very, very wealthy.  So once again, thank you very much and I hope someday we'll get a chance to meet each other.

Kinsey: Absolutely.  That would be wonderful.  Thank you very much and good luck.
