Clinton:
One
of
the
areas
that
I've
been
particularly
interested
in is the area
of children.
Clinton: We intend to
be sure that everybody in the room and every child in this state is
somebody.
Clinton: No matter
where they are born, no matter to whom they are born...
Clinton: I want to
make sure that every child...
Clinton: ...has a
chance to live up to his or her God-given potential.
Clinton: I've
spent my life fighting for children, and I'm not stopping now.
[cheers]
Clinton (voiceover):
I’m
Hillary
Clinton
and
I've
always
approved
this
message.

New Documentary Style Ad
Features Hillary Clinton's Lifelong Record Fighting for Children and
Families
Manchester
-- Hillary for America uses a documentary-style approach to show
Hillary Clinton’s lifelong commitment to fighting for children and
families in a new ad called
“Children.”
There
is
no
candidate
for
President with a better proven
track record of standing up and delivering results for children and
families. The new 30-second spot is part of the campaign's ongoing buy
in New Hampshire and will run alongside previously released ads.
For
instance: Instead of going to a big law firm after Law School, she went
to work going door-to-door for the Children’s Defense Fund. And she
didn't stop there:
- Clinton helped start the Arkansas
Advocates for Children and Families.
- Clinton helped create the Children’s
Health Insurance Program.
- Clinton
led the U.S delegation to the U.N Fourth World Conference on Women in
Beijing, where she proclaimed that “women’s rights are human rights.”
- She
championed access to emergency contraception, the Paycheck Fairness Act
and voted in favor of strengthening a woman’s right to make her own
health care decision.
- She
created the now permanent position of ambassador-at-large for global
women’s issues and helped launch the first U.S strategy to prevent and
respond to gender-based violence globally.
The
ad ends with Hillary Clinton saying, “I’ve spent my life fighting for
children, families and our country, and I'm not stopping now."
