CRUZ SUPER PAC GOES ON AIR IN NEW YORK, SEEKS TO GRAB DELEGATES

What: Trusted Leadership PAC is spending $500,000 on radio, television and digital advertising in New York State in efforts to continue to amass delegates for Senator Ted Cruz. The radio ad introduces Ted Cruz to New Yorkers, highlighting his stance on protecting the nation from terrorists and why voters trust Ted.

Two television ads will rotate. One alerts voters to the tight friendship that John Kasich has with President Obama, doing his bidding in Ohio by expanding Medicaid through Obamacare. The ad was first used successfully in Wisconsin. The ad is a pro-Cruz spot that shows conservatives coalescing around the Senator and why he will be ready on Day One to be president.

Quote:
“It’s no secret New York is a left-leaning state, one where Donald Trump and John Kasich should have a significant stronghold. Yet Ted Cruz’s message of small government, ending Obamacare and protecting our country from terrorists ring true with Americans across the country.  President Cruz will bring a ray of light to the oppressive, liberal policies that have governed New York for too long,” said Chip Roy, executive director of Trusted Leadership PAC.
