Pataki: Defeating
Islamic terrorists
Shrinking government
Growing the economy
These are the issues that matter most.
Instead we’re debating social issues
like abortion and gay rights
They're a distraction, and will only
help elect Hillary.
After eight years of Obama-style
socialism,
We need to shrink government,
Not let big government tell us how to
live our lives.

Releases New Ad "Distractions"
Manchester, New Hampshire
- On the eve of his eighth trip to
New Hampshire, George Pataki, Chairman of We the People Not Washington,
released a new ad, “Distractions.”
The
ad highlights the need to focus on the issues of terrorism, shrinking
government and growing the economy, rather than social issues, which
are more appropriately addressed by the states.
Pataki
said, “We've already seen potential 2016 candidates flubbing issues
like vaccination and evolution - or flip flopping on the Indiana
law.
The vast majority of Americans want Washington focused on national
security and jobs.”
The goal of We the People Not Washington
is to shape a dialogue about the need to shrink the size and scope of
Washington. Governor Pataki knows that Republicans aren't going to be
successful in electing a President in 2016 if we allow the conversation
to be driven by Hillary, the Democrats and the liberal media.
“It’s simple, if we allow social issues to dominate the
conversation, we will elect Hillary Clinton President,” said Pataki.
Governor
Pataki believes in the Tenth amendment and that social issues are best
decided by the states. Independent polling confirms that most
Republicans and Independents in New Hampshire agree with that notion.
This
is the Governor’s eighth trip to New Hampshire. He has announced a
steering committee with two of the State's 14 Republican senators, is
opening an office in Manchester, and as of Thursday will have visited
every county in New Hampshire.
