NotesFrom the Oct. 21, 2015 press release...

Priorities USA is releasing its first television ad of the cycle today that contrasts Hillary Clinton’s record of standing strong for America as Secretary of State with Republicans who are playing political games over Benghazi.

“Republicans in Congress are playing political games over Benghazi by wasting millions of tax dollars in an attempt to weaken Hillary Clinton politically but it’s not working,” said Justin Barasky, Communications Director at Priorities USA. “No matter how many partisan witch-hunts Republicans engage in, Hillary Clinton will always stand strong for us, just like she did as Secretary of State.”

“Games” is running on cable in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Nevada, and Washington D.C. and is Priorities USA’s first television ad of the cycle.

STATEMENT ON CLINTON SUPER PAC AD

October 21, 2015 - Today Priorities USA, the Super PAC supporting Democrat Hillary Clinton's bid for president, released a television ad in an attempt to shield Clinton from her failed record as Secretary of State ahead of Thursday's Benghazi Committee hearing. The ad includes the standard talking points used by Clinton's people for years but ends with a new line: "Hillary Clinton. Strong. For Us." Since July, New Day for America has used "John Kasich's For Us" in television ads, web videos and digital advertising.

In response to Priorities USA lifting this line from New Day for America, Executive Director Matt Carle released the following statement:

"
It's really flattering that they're stealing our material but considering all the money they've taken from liberal special interest groups, you'd think Hillary Clinton's Super PAC could afford to pay someone to come up with some lines of their own. I guess, just like the candidate they support, they've got no new ideas and have resorted to simply trying to make Hillary out to be someone she's not - a candidate who won't relish in dividing America."
