New Spanish Ad Highlights America's Hispanic Heritage

In the wake of the Supreme Court's Deadlocked ruling in United States v. Texas, Hillary for America launches ad celebrating the richness of America's Latino community

Yesterday's Supreme Court deadlocked ruling in United States v. Texas highlighted the high stakes Latino and immigrant families face in this election. While Donald Trump is attempting to deport millions of undocumented immigrants, today Hillary for America released an ad lifting the Latino community and underscoring Latino's long-standing history in building and defending America.

The first Spanish language ad of the general election, "Nuestra Historia," (Our History) features narrations from five American Latinos --from Colombian, Mexican, Salvadoran and Puerto Rican descent-- who trace their American and immigrant roots. These individuals are a reflection of the America Clinton is fighting for: one which builds bridges, not walls; one which embraces immigrants, not denigrates them; one which is stronger together. In light of the Supreme Court's decision, the ad is a stark reminder that Donald Trump's hateful rhetoric and bigoted policies will harm the Latino community. The choice in this election couldn't be clearer: Hillary Clinton is the only candidate in this race that is standing with Latinos and fighting to protect their families.

The 60-second ad will air nationally on Sunday during Copa America's final match.
