Jeb Bush announces additional support in Illinois

Today, Jeb announced additional Illinois support for his campaign. The group of current and former state legislators will help promote Jeb’s successful conservative record of cutting taxes as Governor of Florida and his message of disrupting the culture of Washington. This support comes in addition to the previous announcement of Congressman Adam Kinzinger and Former Illinois Governor Jim Edgar, as his Jeb 2016 Illinois State Co–Chairs.

“As a businessman, Jeb keenly understands like me the importance of building an economy that creates jobs and gives working families a stronger and more secure financial future,” said State Senator Bill Brady (R., Bloomington).  “As a governor, Jeb has a strong conservative record of cutting taxes, curbing waste and reforming broken programs."

“Jeb has a conservative record of reform: cutting taxes, eliminating government waste; reforming broken government programs; and curbing the influence of special interests. Jeb knows what needs to be done, because he’s done it before as Governor of Florida," said Senator Karen McConnaughay.
