Ben Carson Draft Committee Opens Victory Center In Manchester New Hampshire

Draft Committee takes first step on the road to 2016

Merrifield, Va. — Dec.09, 2014 The National Draft Ben Carson for President Committee, a political action committee formed to draft Dr. Ben Carson into the race for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, announced today it has opened a 1,700-square-foot Draft Ben Carson for President Victory Center in Manchester, New Hampshire. 

“New Hampshire will be a key early proving ground for Dr. Carson should he answer the American people’s call for him to run for president,” said John Philip Sousa IV, national chairman for the Draft Committee. “The VictoryCenter will serve as the Committee’s New Hampshire base as we continue our efforts to draft Dr. Carson into the race, and will be an important resource for organizing on Dr. Carson’s behalf heading into the primaries.”

 

The VictoryCenter, located at 815 Elm St. in Manchester, will be open seven days a week and staffed by six volunteers on a rotating schedule. The office will be open Monday through Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (all times Eastern). Volunteers will call New Hampshire voters and continuing to gather petition signatures in support of a presidential run by Dr. Carson.

 

Since August of 2013 the Draft Committee has organized more than 23,000 volunteers nation wide. “The New HampshireVictoryCenter is just the beginning,” said Vernon Robinson, campaign director for the Draft Committee. “We have plans to continue to open offices across the country focusing on early primary states.”
