The Washington Post will be live at 2016 political conventions

Headquarters in downtown Cleveland and Philadelphia to offer newsmaker Q&As, political trivia, nightly watch parties and more

The Washington Post will host a week-long live event series at the 2016 Republican and Democratic National Conventions featuring Post journalists, lawmakers, political operatives, and business leaders. Discussions will examine issues central to the race, provide insights from the campaigns and debate what it means for the general election. Among the journalists participating: Chief Correspondent Dan Balz, Political Reporter Karen Tumulty, National Editor Scott Wilson, Deputy Editorial Page Editor Ruth Marcus, Senior Politics Editor Steven Ginsberg, The Fix’s Chris Cillizza, Political Reporter Ed O’Keefe, The Daily 202’s James Hohmann, National Reporter Mary Jordan, and Media Columnist Margaret Sullivan.

“The Post’s live events complement the extraordinary work of the newsroom, which has consistently delivered the best and most authoritative political coverage of this election cycle,” said Kristine Coratti Kelly, Vice President of Communications and Events at The Post. “These events give attendees and readers across the country a way to engage with the people who are at the forefront of this election process.”

The Post’s live events hub will be located in the heart of downtown Cleveland and Philadelphia, blocks from convention areas, and will feature daily programming, including:
