OVERVIEW
Former President Bill Clinton visited USVI on May 16, holding an organizing event at Island Center for the Performing Arts in St. Croix.  On May 17 Bloomberg reported that Emmett Hansen, a DNC member and superdelegate who had been backing Sanders, switched to supporting Hillary Clinton because of her specific proposals for the territories.

Although the Sanders campaign produced a radio ad (+) and Sanders carried the St. John precinct, he was trounced in St. Croix and St. Thomas and did not win any of the pledged delegates.
