Republican Party of Kentucky Selects National Convention Delegates

The Republican Party of Kentucky (RPK) held its State Convention this Saturday to select 25 at-large delegates and 25 at-large alternate delegates to represent the party at the Republican National Convention, to be held in Cleveland, OH from July 18-21. These delegates join the 18 delegates and 18 alternate delegates selected previously at the 6 Congressional District Conventions.

“I’m excited about the slate of delegates the Convention chose to send to Cleveland,” said RPK Chairman Mac Brown. “These are individuals who have all worked hard to elect Republican candidates and support our party. I have full faith in their ability to fairly represent the members of the Republican Party in Kentucky.”

State Convention delegates also passed a slate of resolutions that stressed party unity and conservative values like repealing Obamacare and support for Kentucky’s Coal industry.
