Hillary for New Hampshire To Open Regional "Get Out The Vote" Centers

Manchester - Hillary for New Hampshire will officially open "Get Out The Vote" (GOTV) Centers in three regions across the state next week as part of its commitment to earn every vote and take nothing for granted through Primary Day. The GOTV centers in Claremont, Derry, and Conway - along with the campaign's 11 New Hampshire offices - will serve as hubs of activity for the more than 7,643 Granite Staters who have taken part in the campaign, joining organizers in communities across the state.

Local supporters and volunteers are taking part in 274 grassroots and voter contact events between December 12th and 19th as part of Hillary for New Hampshire's "Week of Action."  During the statewide "Week of Action," volunteers are going door-to-door and making phone calls to engage voters and will be asking supporters to fill out a “Commit to Vote” card, pledging to vote for Clinton in the first in the nation primary.

From the outset, Hillary Clinton pledged to earn every vote and take nothing for granted ahead of the first in the nation primary. Hillary for New Hampshire is committed to delivering a grassroots community organizing campaign that connects supporters and builds relationships with Granite Staters through one-on-one meetings, small gatherings, and online engagement. Policy discussions with local stakeholders -- reflecting Clinton's commitment to making a difference for families as president -- layered atop of traditional campaign organizing and online outreach has broadened the campaign's coalition of support in New Hampshire.

This week, Hillary Clinton was endorsed by 78 New Hampshire State Representatives, close to half of the Democratic caucus and twice the percentage that supported her eight years ago.  Her support across the Granite State also includes nine of 10 Democratic state senators, surpassing the number that endorsed her campaign in 2008. Together they join a growing list of strong leaders backing Hillary, including Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, Gov. Maggie Hassan, Rep. Annie Kuster, eight mayors and mayors-elect, progressive leaders like Dean Barker, Carol Shea-Porter, former Obama campaign Co-Chairs Ned Helms, Paul Hodes, and Jim Demers, and former Howard Dean Co-Chairs Paul Twomey and Debby Butler, the American Federation of Teachers-New Hampshire, the National Education Association-New Hampshire – New Hampshire’s largest organized labor union -- the Carpenters, and more.
