Loretta Lepore and Dr. Kathleen Ruth Announced as Georgia Co-Chairs Supporting Carly Fiorina

Cites Carly Fiorina’s fresh, informed perspective

ATLANTA, GA - Today, former state house candidate Loretta Lepore and scientist Dr. Kathleen Ruth have announced their support for Carly Fiorina.  They will lead the effort to build support for Carly’s candidacy in Georgia and serve as state co-chairs. Together, they join a growing group of citizens nationally moved to action to support Carly’s candidacy. They will work to communicate Carly Fiorina's unique credentials and accomplishments, and will help build a grassroots network of support. These are the first public endorsements of leaders in Georgia and are part of a growing team.

“U.S. businesses are being destroyed faster than new ones are being created,” said Loretta Lepore. “This is deeply troubling to me. But as a small business owner, I know what it takes to turn around and keep a place running. Carly understands the complete economic ecosystem - from how entrepreneurs grow their businesses -  acquiring capital, attracting talent, harnessing intellectual property, risking to succeed - to how corporate America operates in a global marketplace.”

Under Carly Fiorina’s leadership at Hewlett Packard, innovation tripled to 15 patents per day, according to CARLY for America’s recently unveiled FromSecretaryToCEO.com.

“I am excited to support Carly Fiorina for President,” said Georgia Co-Chair Dr. Ruth.  “Our country is at a pivotal point and we need someone with fresh eyes who’s not afraid to take on the challenges American families face. Carly has a compelling message, a personal story of triumph and a track record of bold executive decision making during tough times. As a working wife and mother, I trust Carly and believe she is the one to bring real leadership to Washington.”
