Mary Eisenhower, Granddaughter of Last Political Outsider to Become President of the United States, Announces Her Support For Carly Fiorina

Eisenhower cites Carly’s knowledge of international affairs and executive experience as reasons for her support

Alexandria, VA – Today, Mary Eisenhower joins the growing list of supporters across the United States to endorse Carly Fiorina as she runs for president. Mary Eisenhower is the granddaughter of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, a decorated war hero who had never held elective office before he was sworn in as President of the United States in 1953. 
 
Mary currently serves as Chairman Emeritus of People to People International. Continuing her grandfather’s legacy, she acted as the Chief Executive Officer of the non-profit organization for thirteen years, from 2000 to 2013. Under Mary’s leadership, People to People International helped enhance international understanding and friendship through educational, cultural and humanitarian activities.
