State Senator Peg Flory Announced as Vermont Co-Chair Supporting Carly Fiorina

Senator Flory cites Carly’s leadership and ability to connect with the American people

BURLINGTON, Vt. – Today, Senator Peg Flory, one of only nine Republican senators from Vermont, joins the Vermont Leadership Team as Co-Chair supporting Carly Fiorina as she runs for president. Senator Flory joins a team of ten other Republican leaders in Vermont: State Representative Robert Bancroft, Len Britton, Dan Cox, Robert Charlebois, Frank Gianni, Zack Holzworth, Seth Hopkins, School Commissioner David Kirk, John Quinn and State Representative Loren Shaw. They understand Carly is the conservative outsider with a bold blueprint to take our government back.

Vermont Senator Peg Flory, Co-Chair, Pittsford:
"I recently had the opportunity to hear Carly Fiorina at a town hall. When I listened to her vision for this country, I knew I needed to do everything I could to support her candidacy. Carly has an incredible ability to connect with people. She takes every question, and she actually answers them, unlike most career politicians. Even better, she explains where she is coming from. Carly is a proven leader, and I know she has the unique skillset to get our country back on track. To put it simply, Carly Fiorina gets it."

Leadership Team:
State Representative Robert Bancroft, Westford
Len Britton, business owner and former Republican U.S. Senate nominee, Barnard
Dan Cox, Baltimore
Robert Charlebois, former Managing Director, Duke Energy
State Senator Peg Flory, Co-Chair, Pittsford
Frank Gianni, Justice of the Peace, Planning Commissioner, Castleton
Zack.Holzworth, Castleton-Hubbardton School Board Member, Castleton
Seth Hopkins, Vice-Chair, Select Board, Brandon
David Kirk, School Commissioner, Burlington
John Quinn, Chair, Northfield Select Board, Northfield
State Representative Loren Shaw, Derby

Together, these Vermont Republicans join a growing group of Americans nationwide who have been moved to support Carly’s candidacy because of her willingness to challenge the status quo and take on the professional political class. They will help build a grassroots network of support in Vermont and communicate why Carly’s unique and impressive background is what we need in the next President of the United States. Fiorina will bring an outsider’s perspective to Washington.
