POLLING MEMO: Gov. Huckabee carries high favorability

and likability ratings among GOP voters

Little Rock, Ark. - Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee's performance in recent public polls - nationally and in Iowa and South Carolina - show, definitively, that Gov. Huckabee is extremely well-liked and significantly supported by ALL Republicans, not just evangelicals," said Bob Wickers, of The Wickers Group, in a polling memo released today.  "You cannot have favorables in the high 60's, and be consistently among the top four candidates chosen on ballot tests, without having support from Republicans across the board: blue collar, seniors, and conservatives - not just evangelicals."
