JUAN HERNANDEZ JOINS CAMPAIGN AS CHAIR OF HISPANICS FOR JOHNSON WELD

Fmr. Bush, Fox & McCain advisor will advise Johnson Weld 2016

August 4, 2016, Salt Lake City, UT -- Johnson Weld 2016 today announced that Juan Hernandez will join the campaign as an advisor and as Chairman of HIspanics for Johnson Weld.

Hernandez will advise the campaign on outreach strategies and will speak on behalf of Johnson Weld 2016 in media interviews in both English and Spanish language media.

Gov. Gary Johnson, Libertarian candidate for President, welcomed Hernandez to Johnson Weld 2016:

“Having a leader of Juan's stature join our campaign is a huge boost, and I am proud to have both his support and his assistance. The choices in this election for Hispanics could not be clearer, and as a former Governor of the nation's most Hispanic state, I understand both the tremendous benefits immigrants bring to America -- and the challenges they face.

I look forward to working closely with Juan to take our message of common sense immigration reform and opportunity for all to every corner of the nation.”

Hernandez has advised international corporations and presidential hopefuls including Vicent Fox (Mexico) in 2000, George W. Bush (US) in 2000, Felipe Calderon (Mexico) in 2006, John McCain (US) in 2008, Juan Gutiérrez (Guatemala) in 2011, and supported Jeb Bush in 2015-2016.

After the Fox and Bush victories, Hernandez created US-Mexico programs benefiting small business on both sides of the border and became one of the most effective promoters of the US-Mexico Partnership for Prosperity.

Hernandez has been featured on the cover of Fortune Magazine as one of the “smartest people we know,” named “Humanitarian of the Year” by Latin Trade Magazine, one of the “100 Most Influential Hispanics” by Hispanic Business Magazine, among many other notable mentions. He has received over 100 awards and recognitions and is a Political Contributor on CNN Espanol.
