Iowa: 5 visits, 5 days

>Gov. John Kasich visited Iowa on September 30, 2015.  Late morning he spoke at a New Ideas Forum town hall meeting in Rogalski Center at St. Ambrose University in Davenport; he visited House of Hope in Cedar Rapids; and in the early evening he held a town hall at the Iowa Startup Accelerator in Cedar Rapids.

>Gov. John Kasich visited Iowa on September 26, 2015.  He participated in an Americans for Peace Prosperity and Security national security forum in UPS Auditorium at Morningside College in Sioux City; and in the evening spoke at state Rep. Mary Ann Hanusa's annual hog roast fundraiser at West Fair Grounds in Council Bluffs.

>Gov. John Kasich visited the State Fair in Des Moines, Iowa on August 18, 2015.  He toured the cattle barn with Gov. Branstad and Lt. Gov. Reynolds, walked the Fair with Sen. Grassley and State Rep. Hanusa, was the guest chef at the Iowa Pork Producers tent (and had three pork chops), toured the Varied Industry Building, and spoke at the Soapbox.

>Gov. John Kasich made his first visit to Iowa as an announced candidate, holding a town hall meeting at Doll Distributing in Des Moines on the afternoon of July 24, 2015.

>Rep. John Kasich visited Iowa on June 24, 2015.  He made a stop at the 2015 National Junior High Finals Rodeo at the Iowa State Fairgrounds (a team from Ohio was participating) in Des Moines; spoke to the Greater Des Moines Partnership 2016 Caucus Candidate Series at the Iowa State Historical Society Building in Des Moines; attended a Bull Moose Club Luncheon at the Embassy Club in Des Moines; and toured and did a meet and greet at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs.


New Hampshire: 14 visits, 23 days
>Gov. John Kasich visited NH on September 12, 2015.  He addressed NH College Republicans Northeast Regional Summit at St. Anselm College in Manchester; did a town hall at the Iber Holmes Gove Middle School in Raymond; spoke at the Seacoast Republican Women’s Chili Cookoff at Doug and Stella Scamman’s Farm in Stratham; and spoke at the Strafford County Republicans' Barbecue and Beer Bash at the Cottage by the Bay in Dover.

>Gov. John Kasich visited NH on September 7-8, 2015
On September 7 he marched in the Milford Labor Day Parade in Milford; spoke and greeted attendees at the the Salem GOP Labor Day Picnic at Derry-Salem Elks Lodge in Salem; and spoke at former U.S. Sen. Scott Brown's first No BS Backyard Barbecue at his home in Rye Beach
On September 8 he toured the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and then held a press gaggle at the Shipyard Front Gate in Kittery, ME; participated in on of Ameicans for Peace, Prosperity and Security's national security forums at Grappone Conference Center in Concord; and in the evening did a national security town hall at Brookline Event Center in Brookline.

>Gov. John Kasich visited NH on September 1-2, 2015.  On the evening of September 1 he spoke at a house party hosted by Rich and Lori Ashooh at their home in Bedford.  On September 2 he did a conversation with the candidate at Robie's Country Store in Hooksett; a town hall meeting at New England College's Simon Center in Henniker; a town hall meeting at Whipple Memorial Town Hall  in New London; and a town hall meeting at Kilton Library in West Lebanon.

>Gov. John Kasich visited NH on August 19, 2015.  He participated in the 2015 New Hampshire Education Summit in Londonderry; and in the early afternoon held a town hall at Derry-Salem Elks Lodge #2226 in Salem.

>Gov. John Kasich visited NH on August 11-12, 2015.  On the evening of August 11 he did a town hall at the Monadnock Country Club in Peterborough.  On August 12 he did a town hall at the VFW in Derry; and spoke at and did questions and answers at a Belknap County Republican Committee meeting at the Top of the Town Restaurant in Belmont.

>Gov. John Kasich visited Manchester, NH on August 3-4, 2015.  On August 3 he participated in the Voters First Forum at St. Anselm College.  On the morning of August 4 he toured and fielded questions from employees at Dynamic Network Services.

>Gov. John Kasich visited NH  on July 31, 2015.  He did a business tour at Moore Nanotechnology Systems in Swanzey; a town hall hosted by the Cheshire County Republican Committee at the Historical Society of Cheshire County in Keene; a walking tour of Keene with former Senate President Tom Eaton, and a house party hosted by Eaton at his home in Spofford.

>Following his announcement in Columbus, OH on July 21, Gov. John Kasich visited NH on July 21-23, 2015
On the evening of July 21 he held a town hall meeting in the Dion Building at Rivier University in Nashua

On July 22 he held a town hall meeting at Portsmouth Country Club in Greenland; and a town hall meeting at Waukewan Golf Club in Center Harbor.
On July 23 he held a town hall meeting at the Pinckney Boat House at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro; had lunch with Mitt and Ann Romney; and did a town hall meeting at The Gibson Center in North Conway.

>Gov. John Kasich visited NH on July 12-13, 2015.  On July 12 he attended former Executive Councilor Ruth Griffin's birthday celebration at Elks Lodge 97 in Portsmouth; and did a Main Street walk in Newmarket with Alex Talcott and Rep. Adam Schroadter, starting at the Joinery Restaurant.  On July 13 he did a small business visit and discussion at Redhook Brewery in Portsmouth; a small business visit and discussion at RP Abrasives in Rochester; a small business visit and discussion at ROKON International Inc. in Rochester; and a Strafford County Republican Committee townhall at Turbocam International in Barrington.

>Gov. John Kasich visited NH on June 17, 2015.  He met with Mayor Ted Gatsas and did a downtown walk in Manchester; appeared at the Josiah Bartlett Center for Public Policy Annual Libertas Award Dinner honoring Steve Forbes at Grappone Center in Concord; and addressed a Hudson Republican Committee meeting at the VFW in Hudson.

>Gov. John Kasich visited NH on June 4-5, 2015.  On June 4 he attended a business roundtable luncheon hosted by Renee Plummer at 1 New Hampshire Avenue in Portsmouth.  [GAP]  On June 5 he met with the Concord Monitor ed board; held a roundtable at Hinkley Allen on S. Main St. in Concord; and spoke at Grafton County Republicans' spaghetti dinner at the Lebanon Elks Lodge in Lebanon.   Also, NH1's Paul Steinhauser reported that Kasich met with former Gov. John H. Sununu on this trip, seq. unclear.

>Gov. John Kasich visited NH on May 6, 2015.  He addressed a New Hampshire House Business Caucus forum, co-hosted by the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce, at the Barley House in Concord; taped a "Conversation with the Candidate" at WMUR in Manchester; and did a meet and greet at Martha's Exchange in Nashua.

>Gov. John Kasich visited NH on April 18, 2015.  In the afternoon he spoke at NHGOP's #FITN Republican Leadership Summit in Nashua.

>Gov. John Kasich visited NH on March 23-24, 2015.  On March 23 he met with Manchester Mayor Ted Gatsas
in Manchester.  On March 24 he spoke at a "Politics and Eggs" breakfast at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics in Manchester; toured the precision manufacturing program at Nashua Community College in Nashua; met with Gov. Maggie Hassan (D) at the State House in Concord; and in the evening spoke at the Concord City and Merrimack County GOP's '"Politics and Pies" at the Snow Shoe Club in Concord.  


South Carolina: 8 visits, 10 days

>Gov. John Kasich visited SC on September 25, 2015.  In the morning, he spoke to African-American small business owners at the Greater Charleston Business Alliance//South Carolina African-American Chamber of Commerce annual meeting at Embassy Suites in North Charleston; at midday he did a town hall hosted by the Citadel Republican Society in Buyer Auditorium at The Citadel in Charleston; and in the evening he did a town hall at The Sea Pines Resort's Harbour Town Liberty Oak Pavilion in Hilton Head.

>Gov. John Kasich visited SC on August 17, 2015.  At SC GOP headquarters in Columbia he officially filed to appear on the Republican presidential primary ballot; and he participated in an Americans for Peace Prosperity and Security national security forum at the Myrtle Beach campus of the Horry Georgetown Technical College in Myrtle Beach.

>Gov. John Kasich visited SC on July 8, 2015.  He spoke at a Beaufort County GOP meet and greet at Aunt Chiladas Restaurant at Hilton Head Island; and at a meet and greet in the Lake House Ballroom at Sun City North in Bluffton.

>Gov. John Kasich visited SC on June 15, 2015.  He spoke at a York County Republican Party lunch meeting and policy discussion at Beef O'Brady's in Fort Mill; and attended a Sun City GOP reception at Sun City Carolina Lakes in Indian Land.

>Gov. John Kasich visited SC on May 27, 2015.  He spoke at a Charleston Chamber of Commerce lunch at 4500 Leeds Ave. in North Charleston; did a port briefing and tour hosted by the South Carolina Ports Authority in Charleston; and hosted a meet and greet at the Liberty Tap Room & Grill in Mount Pleasant.

>Gov. John Kasich visited SC on April 17-18, 2015.  At mid-day on April 17 he addressed the Upstate Chamber Coalition as part of its presidential series at the Spartanburg Marriott in Spartanburg; he did a roundtable and tour at Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) in Greenville; and attended a pre-convention BBQ hosted by the Spartanburg GOP at Village Greens Golf Club in Gramling.  On the morning of April 18 he spoke at the Greenville County Republican biennial convention at TD Convention Center in GreenvilleHe then headed to NH for FITN.

>Gov. John Kasich visited Columbia, SC on February 18-19, 2015 in a trip organized by his 501(c)(4) Balanced Budget Forever.  Early evening on February 18 he attended a reception hosted by the South Carolina House Republican Caucus at Hilton Columbia Center.  On February 19 he and State Sen. Larry Grooms spoke to reporters at a news conference at the State House in support of a constitutional amendment requiring a balanced budget; and he had lunch at the Palmetto Pig Bar-B-Q restaurant.
