Jim Gilmore has the qualifications and experience we need as President.

A former U.S. Army intelligence agent, Jim Gilmore knows when America retreats because of weakness and failing leadership, we place our country and our citizens in harms way because those who would attack us know no boundaries.

Jim Gilmore is the former chairman of a national commission that warned before 9/11 about the dangers of domestic attacks on our nation. He saw terrorism first hand when he served as Governor of Virginia during the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon.

As Governor of Virginia, Jim Gilmore cut taxes by more than $1 billion to stimulate the state's economy creating more than 250,000 jobs so young people did not have to leave the state to find work. Now his economic Growth Code will put more money in the pockets of working men and women.

Jim Gilmore has served as a crime fighting prosecutor and knows well the damage that drugs and violent crime can do to our society, just as we witness the many avoidable deaths from heroin across New Hampshire.

Today, Jim Gilmore knows that our nation's defenses are in a weakened condition endangering Americans abroad and hurting defense related jobs in New Hampshire. On Day 1 in office Jim Gilmore will reverse the policies that have damaged our country and renew the greatness within our nation.

He will put a stop to the disgraceful abuses of the Veterans Administration and insure better access to healthcare for all our veterans. Jim is also committed to better pay and benefits for all of the men and women who serve in uniform.

Protecting Our Families -- Jim Gilmore will work to keep New Hampshire families safe. TI1e first goal of any government should be protecting its citizens and Jim Gilmore will rebuild America's national defenses, including the Navy's lagging shipbuilding program.

The 2nd Amendment -- Jim Gilmore is a long time member of the NRA board who knows that the answer to the issue of gun violence in this country is not taking away our firearms, but in developing a mental health system that will help identify and treat those who need help.
