Over 1,000 and Growing
The Rand Paul Campaign Continues to Shock Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa- Rand Paul for President announced the support of 1,007 precinct captains who vow to caucus for Senator Paul on February 1st. The announcement was made during Senator Paul's birthday party at Buzzard Billy's in Des Moines, where over 300 Iowans joined in for the celebration.

Senator Paul is the only candidate with a message unique and genuine enough to unite young and independent voters with traditional caucus voters. This announcement proves that the Rand Paul campaign will be a force to be reckoned with on caucus night.

"Breaking 1000 precinct captains a month before the Iowa caucuses sends a strong message to all Iowans and other candidates that the Rand Paul campaign is well-organized and poised for a strong finish on caucus night. This is more precinct captains than even Ron Paul's campaign had in 2012, while retaining the youthful vigor other candidates only wish they could attract," said David Fischer, Iowa Co-Chair for Rand Paul for President.

"1,007 precinct captains will make a big impact on caucus night," said Steve Grubbs, Chief Iowa Strategist.
