Laid off and home in Arizona,
Rainer Fehrenbacher got so annoyed that he wanted to "pick up a brick
and throw it at
my television." Thus was was born the Voter Brick.
Fehrenbacher
researched suppliers, found a designer, produced a thousand bricks
(250 each of Obama, Pelosi, Boehner and McConnell) and put up a web
site. The bricks sell for $10 a piece. Fehrenbacher
envisages producing customized bricks for
fundraisers as well. He thinks
the Obama bricks will do well at gun shows. "We
definitely think there is a market for this," Fehrenbacher said.
