March 7, 2015--More presidential activity...
Chris Hill, a longshot Republican candidate for president in 2016, is an airline pilot who served as U.S. Air Force pilot in Operation Desert Storm.  He said he is hoping to reach out to the 20 million veterans in America.  One of his major issues is term limits--12 years for congressmen, Senators, and judges.

Hill diligently introduced himself to attendees of the Summit, spoke to reporters, and handed out literature and photos.  Hill also visited Iowa in February.  He said he met yesterday with Lee Booton, a Vietnam veteran from Ankeny whom he connected with through Facebook, about joining the campaign.  He also said he has been working with CampaignON, a firm in Owings Mills, MD, to help get out his message.  Hill, who formally announced on Jan. 15, 2015, also ran in 2012.

Donald Trump had been scheduled to video remarks the night before but did not make it.  His Iowa advisor Chuck Laudner was very visible throughout the Summit (in the lower photo Laudner is at right talking with AP's Tom Beaumont).
