Joni Eareckson Tada is an international disability advocate and Founder/CEO of Joni and Friends International Disability Center. Mrs. Tada has served on the National Council on Disability under Presidents Reagan and Bush. She has also served on the US State Department's Disability Advisory Committee under former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. As an advocate and a quadriplegic, Mrs. Tada understands clearly the need to safeguard the rights of the medically fragile, the unborn, those with disabilities, and the elderly. Because she believes conservative social principles benefit these populations, Mrs. Tada has joined Senator Rubio’s Dignity of Life Advisory Board.
