In making his endorsement, Congressman Bilirakis issued the following statement:

Marco Rubio has been an unparalleled policy innovator as Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives and his optimistic leadership in the U.S. Senate has inspired Floridians in particular, and Americans nationwide. He will be a president that unites our country and moves us into the better future we deserve.
“Having served with Marco in the Florida Legislature and in Congress, I know him to be a leader that inspires hope and instills in all of us a love of country that we felt under another inspirational leader – Ronald Reagan.
