This morning, New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez announced that she plans to campaign with Marco Rubio in Kansas and Florida on Friday and Saturday and will endorse him for president. Martinez currently serves as the 31st Governor of New Mexico and is the

Chairwoman of the Republican Governors Association. Governor Martinez is the first Hispanic female governor in our nation's history and the first female governor in New Mexico history. Governor Martinez is joining a growing group of conservative leaders from across the country in endorsing Marco. 

Governor Martinez issued the following statement: 

"Marco Rubio is a compelling leader who can unite the country around conservative principles that will improve the lives of all Americans. The stakes for our great country are too high -- and the differences between the candidates too great -- for me to remain neutral in this race. I wholeheartedly trust Marco to keep us safe and ensure a better tomorrow, and I look forward to campaigning with him later this week."
