Campaign Announces Pro-Life Iowans for Trump

DES MOINES, IA – The Trump-Pence presidential campaign today kicked off its Pro-Life Iowans for Trump coalition, which includes over 600 pro-life Iowans who are dedicating to helping ensure Donald Trump wins the presidential election on November 8.

Nearly 30 members of the coalition today assembled at the GOP’s headquarters in Ottumwa to hear Rev. Phil Griffith (Pastor, Faith Baptist Church), Mona Griffith (Wapello County pro-life activist), Rev. Ed Matthews (Pastor, Bible Baptist Church) and Iowa Senator Ken Rozenboom discuss Donald Trump's plans to champion pro-life policies in America.

The Coalition’s chairs, which hail from each of Iowa’s four congressional districts, include Reverend Brad Sherman (Pastor, Solid Rock Church President, Purpose Ministries), Luana Stoltenberg (President, Voice of Truth, Inc. Iowa Director, Operation Outcry), Jon Jacobsen, Esq. (CEO, Midwest Institute for Renewal Award-Winning Broadcaster, KFAB), and Rev. Brian Newswander (Pastor, Morningside Assembly of God Pro-Life Activist and Community Leader).

Statement from Mona Griffith: “While Hillary Clinton proudly campaigns on her so called ‘pro-choice’ platform and has even showed support for legal late-term abortion, Donald Trump as president will champion pro-life policies in America and boldly defend the lives of the unborn. For Americans who value the sanctity of life, their choice in this election could not be clearer—they must vote for Donald Trump on November 8 and actively encourage others who share their values on this important issue to do the same.”
