Travels of Donald Trump—September 2016

Former Sec. of State Hillary Clinton  |  U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine  ||  Donald Trump  |  Gov. Mike Pence  ||  Former Gov. Gary Johnson

Trump kept up a busy six-day-a-week schedule throughout September.  He has continued his efforts at African American outreach, including his first appearance of the general election before a mostly black audience at Great Faith Ministries International in Detroit, MI on Sept. 3, his visit to Flint on Sept. 14 and also a visit to Little Haiti on Sept. 16.  Other highlights thus far this month include his speech at the Values Voter Summit, where he was well received.  One event which did not go over well with reporters was Trump's "campaign event" at the Trump Hotel in Washington, DC on the morning; an expected "major statement" turned out to be more of a stunt (>).  After the first presidential debate at Hoftstra, Trump made what may have been the first-ever appearance by a major party nominee in the spin room.
Note: Links to speeches below (+) are prepared remarks sent out by the campaign, not transcripts; Trump's speeches often vary markedly from the prepared remarks..
