Jeb Bush Announces Virginia State Co-Chairs

Jeb is announcing his Virginia Co-Chairs, Eric Cantor, Former House Majority Leader, Kay Coles James, Former VA Secretary of Health and John Hager, Former Lieutenant Governor of Virginia, tonight.

They will help inform Virginians about Governor Bush’s message and grow support for Gov. Bush’s campaign in the Commonwealth.

"Governor Bush is a true conservative leader with a long-term vision for this country and the practical know how to implement it. After eight years of anemic growth and declining international relevance, America needs a President that can re-energize our nation and recapture our greatness - Jeb Bush is that man. I look forward to working closely with the Governor and his team as they chart a course to the White House.” - Former House Majority Leader, Eric Cantor

"I have known Jeb Bush for many years. Conservative values, proven leadership ability, executive government experience, character and integrity, a positive vision for the future, and a passion for freedom and liberty are just a few of the reasons that I am supporting Gov. Bush for President of the United States. This great country deserves no less,.” - Kay Coles James, Former Virginia Secretary of Health, Former Member of the Virginia State Board of Education and Former Fairfax County School Board Member.

"Jeb Bush has the experience, with a great track record as Florida Governor, a broad appeal and the strong Virginia values we need in a candidate for President.” - Frm. Lt. Governor John Hager

response from DNC

Please see the following in response to Jeb Bush's endorsement from Eric Cantor:

"Eric Cantor was defeated by GOP primary voters for being too cozy with Wall Street and the GOP establishment, and Jeb Bush is being relegated to middle-of-the-pack status by GOP presidential primary voters for exactly the same reasons. Jeb Bush seems to go out of his way to show he’s out of touch.” – Christina Freundlich, DNC spokeswoman
