Des Moines Register: 33 Iowa business leaders line up behind Jeb Bush
Some well-known business leaders in Iowa have signed on as public supporters of GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush.
More than 30 have signed a pledge saying they're on Team Bush and committed to promoting Bush's record of tax cuts and economic growth during his eight years as Florida's governor, campaign aides told The Des Moines Register.
Jeb Bush Announces Support of Iowa Business Leaders
Governor Jeb Bush formally announced the support of a diverse group business leaders from across Iowa. These first members of the Iowa Business Leaders Team will help spread Governor Bush’s optimistic message of 4% economic growth and 19 million new jobs created in eight years.In Florida, Governor Bush cut taxes every year totaling $19 billion, he created 1.3 million new jobs, and increased household income by 20%. Iowa business leaders understand that Jeb has a clear plan to grow the economy and the leadership skills to make it happen.
“I am honored to have the support of some Iowa’s finest business leaders.” Said Governor Bush. “Iowa’s job creators understand that we need a President who has plan to grow our lagging economy and put America back to work.”
