May 18 - Def. Sec. of State Trey Grayson by 58.76% to 35.45% in the Republican primary.
Nov. 2 - Def. Atty Gen. Jack Conway (D) by 55.73% to 44.25%.
Jan. - Sworn in as Senator; also Paul's opth. practice merged into Downing-McPeak Vision Centers.
Feb. 22 - The Tea Party Goes to Washington (Center Street).
Sept. 11 - Government Bullies (Center Street).
March 6 - At 11:47 a.m. starts nearly 13 hour long filibuster of nomination of John Brennan to be director of the CIA to get at issue of domestic drone strikes.
