Iowa: 19 visits, 28 days

>Sen. Ted Cruz visited Iowa on September 26, 2015.  He celebrated the grand opening of his campaign office at 10711 Justin Dr. in Urbandale; did a meet and greet at Rustic Brew in Hampton; made an OTR stop at the Casey's in Garner; and keynoted the Cornerstone Republican Gala presented by Hancock, Kossuth, Winnebago, and Worth County Republican parties at the Branding Iron in Thompson.

>Sen. Ted Cruz visited Iowa on September 19-20, 2015.
On September 19 he spoke at Iowa FFC's Family Banquet and Presidential Forum at the Fairgrounds in Des Moines.  On September 20 he recorded Iowa Press in Johnston; and made a retail stop at te Iowa Machine Shed in Urbandale.

>Sen. Ted Cruz visited Des Moines, Iowa on August 21, 2015.  He attended the State Fair; and in the evening held a Rally for Religious Liberty (+) at the the Iowa Events Center in the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center.

>Sen. Ted Cruz visited Iowa on July 17-18, 2015.
On July 17 he made a stop at the Field of Dreams in Dyersville; and did a town hall at the Campaign HQ (a company) office. in Brooklyn
Early afternoon July 18 he spoke at The FAMiLY Leadership Summit 2015 at Stephens Auditorium in Ames.

>Sen. Ted Cruz visited Iowa on July 6-7, 2015 , signing his book A Time for Truth.  On July 6 he did a book signing at the Barnes and Noble in West Des Moines; and dropped by Smokey Row Coffee Co. in Des MoinesOn July 7 he did a signing at the Barnes and Noble in Sioux City.

>Sen. Ted Cruz visited Iowa on June 26-27, 2015
On June 26 he did a town hall style meeting at the Sheldon Community Services Center in Sheldon; made stops to meet with local business owners (including the Dutch Bakery) in Orange City; and attended a picnic and meet and greet hosted by state Sen. Bill Anderson at Pierson City Park and Ball Diamond in Pierson
On June 27 he delivered a "Believe Again" speech at Drake University's Sheslow Auditorium in Des Moines; and did a Main Street walk from Jaarsma Bakery in Pella.

Ted Cruz visited Iowa on June 19-20, 2015On June 19 he plans a town hall meeting at Council Bluffs Public Library in Council Bluffs;[due to flight cancelations, Cruz could not attend; Mat Schultz and Bryan English attended in his place]; he did a town hall meeting at Red Coach Inn and Restaurant in Red Oak; and a town hall meeting at Cronk’s Café in Denison.  On June 20 he was special guest at a Celebrate the 2nd Amendment fundraiser for state Rep. Ralph Watts at CrossRoads Shooting Sports in Johnston.

>Sen. Ted Cruz visited Iowa on April 25, 2015; his only announced appearance was at Iowa FFC's presidential candidate forum in Waukee.

>Sen. Ted Cruz participated in a panel for the Network of Iowa Christian Home Education's Homeschool Iowa Capitol Day and then did a media avail at the Des Moines Airport Holiday Inn in Des Moines, Iowa on the afternoon of April 9, 2015.

>Sen. Ted Cruz visited Iowa on April 1-2, 2015.  On the afternoon of April 1 he held a town hall at Morningside College's UPS Auditorium in Sioux City; and in the evening he attended a Dubuque County GOP reception at Park Farm Winery in Durango.  On April 2 he held a town hall meeting at PIPAC Centre in Cedar Falls; held a town hall at the Long Branch Hotel in Cedar Rapids; and held a town hall at the Holiday Inn Des Moines Airport in Des Moines.

Ted Cruz visited Des Moines, Iowa on March 7-9, 2015.  On March 7 he spoke at and did a media avail. at the Iowa Agriculture Summit; and toured the Iowa Deer Classic trade show at HyVee Hall.  On March 8 he attended services at Grace Church; and hosted a lunch with grassroots activists.  On March 9 he did an in-studio interview on WHO's "Mickelson in the Morning;" and appeared at an American Renewal Project's Pastors and Pews event at the Airport Holiday Inn

>Sen. Ted Cruz visited Des Moines, Iowa on January 24, 2015.  The Des Moines Register reported he planned a private grassroots roundtable; and he spoke at the Iowa Freedom Summit [transcript].

>Sen. Ted Cruz, along with Gov. Bobby Jindal, headlined Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition's 14th Annual Fall Family Banquet at the Knapp Learning Center on the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, Iowa on September 27, 2014.

>Sen. Ted Cruz visited Iowa on August 9, 2014.  He attended the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines, including having a pork chop on a stick, casting his kernal for Joni Ernst, viewing the butter cow, stopping by the Iowa GOP booth, speaking from the DMR Soapbox at 1 p.m., and leaving with a turkey leg; and he spoke at the FAMiLY Leadership Summit at Stephens Auditorium in Ames [transcript].

>Sen. Ted Cruz appeared at a fundraiser for U.S. Senate candidate Joni Ernst and at the annual summer party at Iowa Board of Regents president and agricultural entrepreneur Bruce Rastetter's property in Hubbard (Hardin County), Iowa on August 2, 2014.  (Sens. Rubio and Johnson-WI also present)

>Sen. Ted Cruz visited Iowa on March 18, 2014.  He was the featured speaker at the Network of Iowa Christian Home Educators' Homeschool Day at the Marriott in Des Moines (-); and spoke at a Cerro Gordo Republicans dessert reception fundraiser at Music Man Square in Mason City.


2013

>Sen Ted Cruz visited Iowa on October 25-26, 2013.  On the evening of October 25 he headlined the Republican Party of Iowa's annual Ronald Reagan Commemorative Dinner at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines (-).  On October 26 he joined U.S. Rep. Steve King for his annual Col. Bud Day Pheasant Hunt at the Hole N' the Wall Lodge north of Akron and the subsequent Defenders of Freedom event at the Le Mars Convention Center in Le Mars.

>Sen. Ted Cruz spoke at The FAMiLY Leadership Summit at Stephens Auditorium in Ames, Iowa on August 10, 2013 (former Sen. Rick Santorum and businessman Donald Trump also spoke).  As reported by Jason Noble at Iowa Politics, Cruz had been "scheduled to meet top Republican donors and activists" at the Iowa State Fair before his appearance but that did not happen as his flight was delayed.

>Sen. Ted Cruz spoke at the Republican Party of Iowa's Summer Picnic and Luncheon fundraiser at GOP headquarters and at the American Renewal Project's "Pastors and Pews" (closed event) in Des Moines, Iowa on July 19 2013.

Heidi Cruz visited Iowa on September 21-22, 2015.  On September 21 she did a meet and greet with Polk County Republican Women at Smokey Row in Des Moines; and a meet and greet at Tish's Restaurant in Council Bluffs; and a dessert and coffee reception at Minerva's Restaurant in Sioux City.  On September 22 she did a morning meet and greet at Cronk's Cafe in Denison; a meet and greet at Prime Time Grill in Guthrie Center; and a meet and greet at the Perry Perk in Perry.

Pastor Rafael Cruz visited Iowa on September 5, 2015.  At the invitation of state Rep. Greg Heartsill he spoke on "The Separation of Church and State" at the Coffee Connection in Knoxville.

Pastor Rafael Cruz visited Iowa on August 10-11, 2015.  On the evening of August 10 he spoke as part of Cornerstone World Outreach's Homecoming 2015 Resurgence in Sioux City.  On the evening of August 11 he headlined the Franklin County Republican Central Committee's "Legacy of Leadership" fundraiser at Maynes Grove in Hampton.

Pastor Rafael Cruz visited Iowa on May 30-June 3, 2015
On the afternoon of May 30 he did a coffee at Cronk's Restaurant in Denison.
On June 2 He spoke at the Eastern Branch of the Davenport Public Library in Davenport; and did a meet and greet for pastors and wives hosted by Pastor Darran Whiting and James Knox at the Pizza Ranch in Marion.
On June 3 hosted by the Jones County GOP, he spoke in the Monticello Council Chambers in Monticello; hosted by the Dubuque County GOP, he spoke at the Pizza Ranch in Dubuque; hosted by the Dyersville Tea Party he spoke at the Country Junction Restaurant in Dyersville; and, sponsored by the Cedar Valley Patriots for Christ, spoke at Cedar Valley Community Church in Waterloo.
