May 10 Dems: WV

70 Delegates
Summary
:  These are the first contests since Trump became the presumptive nominee.  He issued a statement:

"It is a great honor to have won both West Virginia and Nebraska, especially by such massive margins. My time spent in both states was a wonderful and enlightening experience for me. I learned a lot, and that knowledge will be put to good use towards the creation of businesses, jobs, and the strengthening and revival of their economies. I look forward to returning to West Virginia and Nebraska soon, and hope to win both states in the general election. Likewise, my time spent last week with the great people of Oregon will hopefully lead to another victory next Tuesday."

Statement on Presidential Primary Result

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Upon the news of multiple national news outlets calling the presidential primary in West Virginia for Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders, West Virginia Republican Party Chairman Conrad Lucas released the following statement:

"West Virginia has spoken.  Voters in the Mountain State are tired of Barack Obama's policies and they are excited for change in the White House.  Donald Trump has enjoyed overwhelming support in West Virginia and today voters were able to cast their ballots to officially support him in our primary.

Donald Trump filled a stadium last week in Charleston and today his support was felt statewide.  West Virginians understand that Donald Trump is the man to Make America Great Again and put coal miners back to work.  We are proud to send this message to Washington and to the world.

As for the Democrats, today was yet another blow to liberal Joe Manchin and his anti-coal agenda.

Crooked Hillary Clinton cannot be trusted.  Joe Manchin's tireless support of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama will come back to haunt him if he ever seeks election in West Virginia again."
