DNC/Florida Democratic Party Primary Debate Hosted by Univision News and The Washington Post to Take Place at the Nation’s Largest and Most Diverse College, Miami Dade College, on March 9, 2016


MIAMI – NOVEMBER 2, 2015 – Univision News, the award-winning news division of Univision Communications Inc. (UCI), and The Washington Post will host a Democratic Primary Debate at the nation’s largest and most diverse college, Miami Dade College (MDC), on Wednesday, March 9, 2016. This will be the final Democratic debate of the six sanctioned by the Democratic National Committee for the 2015-2016 primary election cycle.

The DNC/Florida Democratic Party/Univision News/Washington Post Democratic Primary Debate will be held at MDC’s Kendall Campus (11011 SW 104th Street, Miami FL) and will be broadcast coast to coast on the Univision Network at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT/6 p.m. PT on Wednesday, March 9. The debate will be open to credentialed media only. Details on the credentialing process will be announced in early 2016.

In addition to co-sponsoring this Democratic debate and a Republican candidates forum in the first quarter of 2016, Univision News, which reaches 93 percent of U.S. Hispanic households and operates the leading digital platforms for Hispanic America, and The Washington Post, which has an audience of almost 60 million, have joined forces to provide the most in-depth, authoritative coverage of Hispanic voters ever seen to date, through groundbreaking polling and joint reporting projects featuring video interviews, interactive infographics and digital storytelling. MIAMI – 2 DE NOVIEMBRE DE 2015 – Univision Noticias, la galardonada división de noticias de Univision Communications Inc. (UCI), y The Washington Post presentarán un Debate Primario Demócrata en la institución de estudios superiores más grande y diversa del país, Miami Dade College (MDC), el miércoles 9 de marzo de 2016. Este será el último debate demócrata de los seis autorizados por el Comité Nacional Demócrata (DNC por sus siglas en inglés) para el ciclo electoral primario de 2015-2016.

El Debate Primario Demócrata del DNC/Partido Demócrata de la Florida/Univision Noticias/Washington Post se llevará a cabo en el Campus de Kendall de MDC (11011 Calle SW 104, Miami FL) y será transmitido de costa a costa por la Cadena Univision a las 9 p.m. hora del Este/8 p.m. hora del Centro/6 p.m. hora del Pacífico el miércoles, 9 de marzo. El debate estará abierto exclusivamente a medios de comunicación con credenciales de acceso. Los detalles del proceso de obtención de credenciales para la prensa serán anunciados a principios de 2016.
