>Sen. Ted Cruz visited Greenville, SC on May 9, 2015. He spoke at the American Renewal Project's South Carolina Private Policy Briefing luncheon at the Westin Pointsett; and spoke at the Freedom Summit, followed by a media availability and mix and mingle, all at the Peace Center.

>Sen. Ted Cruz visited SC on May 1-2, 2015 for the SCGOP's 2015 Silver Elephant Dinner and State Convention at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center in Columbia. On May 1 he attended the Silver Elephant Dinner. On May 2 he addressed the State Convention.

>Sen. Ted Cruz visited SC on April 3-4, 2015 (directly following an April 1-2 visit to Iowa). On April 3 he held a town hall meeting at the Holiday Inn in Rock Hill; did a private tour of and spoke at the Carolina Pregnancy Center in Spartanburg; held a town hall meeting at the Beacon Drive-In restaurant in Spartanburg; and attended a Republican Women dessert reception at the Poinsett Club in Greenville. On April 4 in the morning he met for two hours with pastors (+); he made a lunch stop at Palmetto Pig BBQ in Columbia; and he spoke at an Aiken Republican Club meeting at Newberry Hall in Aiken.

>The 2015 South Carolina Tea Party Coalition Convention was held at the Springmaid Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC on January 17-19, 2015. Dr. Ben Carson and Sen. Ted Cruz spoke on the afternoon of January 18. Former Sen. Rick Santorum and Donald Trump spoke on January 19.

On October 11 he did a roundtable at a "Bridging the Gap" forum organized by The Palladium Group (a Spartanburg consulting firm founded by Karen Floyd) at the Spartanburg Community College Downtown Campus in Spartanburg; and attended an Alan Wilson for Attorney General tailgate meet and greet next to Memorial Stadium at Clemson University in Clemson. Mid-afternoon on October 12 he attended an ice cream social hosted by the Spartanburg and Greenville Republican parties at the River Falls Plantation Golf Clubhouse in Duncan.

>Sen. Ted Cruz keynoted the Free Enterprise Foundation's 8th annual awards banquet in at the Holliday Alumni Center at The Citadel in Charleston, SC on April 15, 2014. Politico's Manu Raju reported that afterwards Cruz "met with a group of event organizers and area Republicans at a Marriott Hotel bar booth." (The Free Enterprise Foundation is "a non-profit, independent research institution headquartered at The Citadel").
