FBI Agents Texted About Stopping
Trump Presidency
- This report further demonstrates that a
fervent anti-Trump bias existed from the very beginning of the Russia
investigation.
- Look no further than Peter Strzok -who
originally led the FBI’s Russia investigation - and his lover, FBI
lawyer Lisa Page.
- Their texts are full
of anti-Trump and pro-Clinton bias.
- Today’s report shows the most damning
evidence yet - a text from Strzok to Page assuring her, “We’ll stop
[Trump from becoming president].”
- The Inspector General
concluded that these texts and others like it are “not only indicative
of a biased state of mind but, even more seriously, implies a
willingness to take official action to impact the presidential
candidate’s electoral prospects.”
- The report stated
that five different FBI agents sent pro-Clinton and anti-Trump texts -
and implied using official authority to target Trump.
- In spite of all of
this, Strzok remains employed by the FBI. He is still on the payroll.
He still has a security
clearance.
- How is that possible,
when he broke FBI protocol and conspired to use his standing in our
chief law enforcement agency to sway the results of an election and go
after President Trump?
- Today’s IG report
also bolsters President Trump’s decision to fire James Comey, someone
who broke protocol and did irreparable damage to the FBI.
- Comey, who has spent
months on a book tour touting his record of “ethical leadership,” has
been accused of:
- Being ‘insubordinate’
- Per the IG report,
he “acknowledged that he made a conscious decision not to tell
Department leadership about his plans to make a separate statement [on
Hillary Clinton] because he was concerned that they would instruct him
not to do it.”
- Per the IG report,
he “acknowledged that he made a conscious decision not to tell

- ‘Damaging the
bureau and the Justice Department’s image of impartiality’
- ‘Deviating’ from FBI
procedure
- Using his personal
e-mail for FBI business – an action which is ‘inconsistent’ with FBI
policy.
- It was also revealed
that Strzok and Page used their personal account to conduct FBI
business as well, which begs the question, is this why they went so
easy on Hillary Clinton?

- Being ‘insubordinate’
- The American people deserve to have trust in the highest levels of law enforcement and the FBI, and as today’s IG report shows, James Comey – through his carelessness, his self-importance, and his arrogance – eroded that trust.
