Hillary for Arizona Hires Leadership Staff and Organizing Team

Phoenix, AZ – Today, the Hillary for Arizona campaign announced the hiring of state leadership staff and field organizers dedicated to voter contact and mobilization for Hillary Clinton for the March 22nd Arizona Democratic Presidential Primary.

The Hillary for Arizona campaign recently hired State Organizer Tom Reade, Special Advisor Rodd McLeod, Political Director Luis Heredia, Organizing Director Kate Magill, and numerous field organizers to coordinate local outreach. The campaign has focused on hiring staff who know Arizona well and organizers with experience working with and mobilizing diverse communities.

Tom Reade has worked on several Arizona presidential campaigns including for Secretary John Kerry and President Barack Obama. He managed Tempe Mayor Mark Mitchell's re-election and has worked for Jim Pederson and Terry Goddard. He also previously worked for the Arizona Democratic Party and Human Rights Campaign.

Rodd McLeod has managed campaigns for Gabby Giffords and Kyrsten Sinema. He has worked with Richard Carmona, Fred DuVal, Howard Dean, Felecia Rotellini, Jonathan Rothschild, Mary Rose Wilcox and others.

Luis Heredia has worked as a senior staffer for Arizona congressional offices.  He previous served as the campaign manager for Felecia Rotellini for Arizona Attorney General,  as the Arizona Democratic Party's executive director, and as an advisor for several legislative and local races.

Kate Magill joined Hillary Clinton's campaign last April, and she spent several months in Iowa for the caucuses and most recently in Colorado for Super Tuesday. Kate is originally from Florida and began organizing on President Obama's re-election campaign in 2012 in New Hampshire.

In addition, the Hillary for Arizona campaign has hired organizers who will work with community leaders and volunteers across the state to mobilize voters for the presidential primary election. From Flagstaff to Tucson and beyond, the campaign has assigned organizers to every corner of the state.
