California Legislative Black Caucus Endorses Hillary Clinton for President

Cites Hillary Clinton’s Commitment to the African-American Community Since Day One

SACRAMENTO, CA – Today, the California Legislative Black Caucus endorsed Hillary Clinton for president.  Clinton has been fighting for civil rights and racial justice throughout her career, and as President she will continue to work hard to improve the lives of African-Americans throughout California. Clinton is committed to fighting for criminal justice reform and ending the epidemic of gun violence in California communities.  She also wants to expand employment opportunities for all African-Americans and end the education achievement gap in K-12 schools.
 
In endorsing Secretary Clinton, CLBC Chairman, Senator Isadore Hall, III (D – San Pedro) released the following statement:

As Chair of the largest African-American legislative caucus in California history, I know that our future is closely linked to our past. Secretary Clinton has stood with the African-American community since day one.
