Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine Raised More Than $100 Million for HFA and the Democratic Party

Today, Hillary for America (HFA), the Hillary Victory Fund (HVF) and the Hillary Action Fund (HAF) are filing their pre-general FEC reports covering October 1st to October 19th. The three reports show that Hillary Clinton and Senator Tim Kaine raised $101 million and began the final weeks of the campaign with more than $153 million on hand.

HFA received more than 1.1 million donations from more than 774,000 people with an average donation of just $50. More than 2.8 million people have now donated the campaign.

“Thanks to the support of more than 2.8 million Americans, we are able to close out the final days of this campaign by running an unprecedented coordinated campaign to mobilize voters who will help elect Democratic candidates up and down the ballot," said Hillary for America Campaign Manager Robby Mook. "As the race inevitably tightens as we near election day, the organization on the ground in battleground states will be critical to staving off complacency and ensuring that we get all of our supporters to the polls."

Mook shared this important message to voters about the urgency of the race in the closing days of the election in a new video released this morning.

HFA raised about $18 million during this period in contributions of $200 or less (unitemized directly raised to HFA and unitemized allocations from HVF), and more than 60 percent of the campaign’s contributions for the month were from women. 

Hillary for America is also continuing the tradition of transparency she started in 2008 and is voluntarily publishing a list of her top volunteer fundraisers, found here on her website.

Hillary for America, Together with Joint Accounts, Began October with About $152 Million in the Bank

Today, Hillary for America (HFA) filed its October monthly FEC report covering the month of September. The report shows that HFA began October with more than $59 million in the bank after raising more than $85 million in September thanks to more than 1.5 million contributions from about 900,000 people during the month. The average donation to HFA during September was about $56.  

Between HFA, the Hillary Victory Fund (HVF) and the Hillary Action Fund (HAF), Democrats began October with more than $152 million in the bank.

“Heading into the final weeks of the election, we are making unprecedented investments in the coordinated campaign to help Democrats win up and down the ballot," said Hillary for America Campaign Manager Robby Mook. "Thanks to the more than 2.6 million Americans who have donated to this campaign, we are now working to expand the map into states like Arizona to have even more paths to 270 electoral votes and increase our investments to help win competitive down ballot races across the country."

Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine Raised More Than $154 Million in September for HFA and the Democratic Party

Hillary Clinton and Senator Tim Kaine had their best fundraising month of the campaign in September, bringing in more than $154 million for Hillary for America (HFA) and the Democratic Party. HFA, along with

the Hillary Victory Fund (HVF) and Hillary Action Fund (HAF) began October with a combined $150 million in the bank. More than 900,000 people donated to HFA in September and about 2.6 million people have now donated to the campaign in total.  The average donation to HFA in September was about $56.

"With Donald Trump promising to dump an additional $50 million of his own money into the campaign and right-wing billionaires pledging millions more, we must continue to step up in order to have the resources we need to mobilize millions of voters across the country," said Hillary for America Campaign Manager Robby Mook. "Millions of Americans are supporting this campaign because they know that Hillary Clinton is the only candidate who has the temperament to be commander in chief and who will fight to make the economy work for everyone."

About $84 million of the total raised was for Hillary for America, making it by far the best month for the campaign, while about $70 million was raised for the DNC and state parties across the country through the Hillary Victory Fund and the Hillary Action Fund.

HFA began September with more than $59 million on hand, while HVF and HAF had a combined $91 million. ​

Hillary Clinton had her best fundraising month of the campaign in August, bringing in about $143 million for Hillary for America (HFA)  and the Democratic Party. HFA, along with the Hillary Victory Fund (HVF) and Hillary Action Fund (HAF) began September with a combined $152 million in the bank. More than 2.3 million people have now donated to HFA and the average donation to the campaign in August was about $50.

"Thanks to the 2.3 million people who have contributed to our campaign, we are heading into the final two months of the race with the resources we need to organize and mobilize millions of voters across the country," said Hillary for America Campaign Manager Robby Mook. "Donald Trump's divisive rhetoric continues to drive voters away from him and the Republican Party and has created new opportunities for Democrats up and down the ticket. These resources will help us to register and turnout millions of voters to elect progressive candidates across the country."

About $62 million of the total raised was for Hillary for America while about $81 million was raised for the DNC and state parties across the country through the Hillary Victory Fund and the Hillary Action Fund.

HFA began September with more than $68 million on hand, while HVF and HAF had a combined $84 million.

Hillary Clinton Raised About $90 Million in July for HFA and the Democratic Party

54 Percent of Contributions Came from New Donors

Hillary Clinton had her best fundraising month of the campaign in July, bringing in nearly $90 million for Hillary for America and the Democratic Party. Her campaign began August with more than $58 million in the bank. HFA's average donation for the month was just $44 and about 54 percent of donations in the month of July came from new donors.

"We come out of the Democratic National Convention with our party united and our supporters energized for the final 98 days of this campaign," said Hillary for America Campaign Manager Robby Mook. "Our goal for the next 98 days is to take the remarkable outpouring of support we saw as Hillary Clinton took the stage in Philadelphia and build on our efforts to organize and mobilize millions of voters to elect progressive candidates up and down the ballot in November."

HFA also saw its best 24-hour period for online fundraising of the campaign with more than $8.7 million coming in online between 8 pm on Thursday, July 28th and 8 pm on Friday, July 29th as Clinton addressed the Democratic National Convention and officially accepted the Democratic nomination.

About $63 million of the total raised was for Hillary for America while about $26 million was raised for the DNC and state parties across the country through the Hillary Victory Fund and the Hillary Action Fund.

Hillary for America Began July with More than $44 Million Cash on Hand

Raised More Than $69 Million in June for HFA, DNC and State Parties

Today, Hillary for America (HFA) filed its July monthly FEC report covering the month of June. The report shows that HFA began July with more than $44 million in the bank after raising more than $40.5 million in June thanks to more than 865,000 contributions from about 575,000 people during the month. The average donation to HFA during June was about $47. 

“Donald Trump and his allies are giving us nightly reminders at the Republican National Convention of why it is so important that Hillary Clinton is elected the next President of the United States,” said Hillary for America Campaign Manager Robby Mook. "Thanks to about 1.6 million supporters, we are in strong financial shape and have been able to build an organization that can communicate out message and turn our voters out to the polls"

Clinton Raised Nearly $70 Million in June for Hillary For America, the DNC and State Parties

HFA raised more than $40 million, begins June with more than $44 million on hand

Hillary Clinton raised more than $68.5 million for Hillary for America, the DNC and state parties across the country in June.  More than $40.5 million of that total was for HFA and about $28 million was raised for the DNC and state parties across the country through the Hillary Victory Fund (HVF) and the Hillary Action Fund (HAF). Clinton has now raised about $288 million for the campaign and about $90 million for the DNC and state parties through the HVF and HAF. HFA continued to be efficient in its spending and enters July with more than $44 million on hand. The average donation to HFA in June was about $48.

Funds raised through the Hillary Victory Fund are now being used to fund and staff organizing programs in states across the country that will register voters, recruit volunteers and organize Democrats to turn out and support candidates up and down the ballot. The coordinated campaigns are being run by the DNC and state parties and will coordinate with local, state and federal Democratic campaigns to work to elect progressives across the country.

"Our first month of general election fundraising proved to be the best of the campaign," said Hillary for America Campaign Manager Robby Mook. "Thanks to the continued support of nearly 1.6 million people, we have been able to help Democrats build out an organizing infrastructure across the country that will mobilize millions of voters and help elect progressive candidates up and down the ballot."

Donald Trump has not yet reported his June fundraising totals.

The average donation during May was about $44.

Clinton Raised More Than $40 Million in May for Hillary For America, DNC and State Parties, HFA Begins June With More Than $42 Million on Hand

HFA raised more than $27 million, begins June with more than $42 million on hand

Hillary Clinton raised more than $27 million in primary funds for Hillary for America and over $13.5 million for the DNC and state parties across the country through the Hillary Victory Fund during May. Clinton has now raised more than $240 million in primary funds for the campaign and more than $62 million for the DNC and state parties through the HVF. HFA continued to stockpile resources and enters June in strong financial shape with more than $42 million on hand. The average donation to HFA in May was about $44.

Funds raised through the Hillary Victory Fund are now being used to fund and staff organizing programs in states across the country that will register voters, recruit volunteers and organize Democrats to turn out and support candidates up and down the ballot. The coordinated campaigns are being run by the DNC and state parties and will coordinate with local, state and federal Democratic campaigns to work to elect progressives across the country.

Hillary for America Raised $26.4 Million in April, Began May with More than $30 Million Cash on Hand

Today, Hillary for America (HFA) filed its May monthly FEC report covering the month of April. The report shows that HFA began May with more than $30 million in the bank after raising more than $26.4 million in primary contributions in April thanks to more than 630,000 contributions from about 400,000 people during the month. The average donation during April was about $42.  Clinton has raised more for the primary than any other candidate in either party - over $213 million from more than 1,200,000 contributors.

Clinton brought in $26,448,713.50 in primary donations through Hillary for ​America and the Hillary Victory Fund (HVF) in April of 2016.  

Clinton raised more than $9 million in April​ in contributions of $200 or less ​(unitemized directly raised to HFA and unitemized allocations from HVF), and ​more than 60 percent of the campaign’s contributions for the month were from women. 

Hillary for America is also continuing the tradition of transparency she started in 2008 and is voluntarily publishing a list of her top volunteer fundraisers, found here on her website.

Clinton Raised $36 Million in April for Hillary For America, DNC and State Parties

HFA raised $26.4 million, Begins May with $30 million on hand

Hillary Clinton raised about $26.4 million in primary funds for Hillary for America and more than $9.5 million for the DNC and state parties across the country through the Hillary Victory Fund.  Clinton has now raised $213.5 million in primary funds for the campaign and more than $46 million for the DNC and state parties through the HVF.   HFA enters May in strong financial shape with about $30 million on hand.

Funds raised through the Hillary Victory Fund are now being used to fund and staff organizing programs in states across the country that will register voters, recruit volunteers and organize Democrats to turn out and support candidates up and down the ballot. The coordinated campaigns are being run by the DNC and state parties and will coordinate with local, state and federal Democratic campaigns to work to elect progressives across the country.

Hillary for America Raised $29.3 Million in March, Began April with About $29 Million Cash on Hand

Today, Hillary for America (HFA) filed its April monthly FEC report covering the month of March.  The report shows that HFA began April with about $29 million in the bank after raising more than $29.3 million in primary contributions in March thanks to more than 670,000 contributions from about 400,000 people during the month. The average donation was about $45 and more than 50 percent of the $29.3 million came from grassroots online donations.  Clinton now has more than 1,100,000 contributors.    

“We head into the homestretch of the primary in strong financial shape with the resources we need to continue to run a competitive race through the end of the primary and the road ahead,” said Hillary for America Campaign Manager, Robby Mook.

Hillary for America Raised $30.1 Million in February, Began March with About $31 Million Cash on Hand

Today, Hillary for America (HFA) filed its March monthly FEC report covering the month of February.  The report shows that HFA began March with about $31 million in the bank after raising more than $30.1 million in primary contributions in February thanks to contributions from about 365,000 people during the month. More than 50 percent of the $30 million came from grassroots online donations.  Part way through March, Clinton now has more than 1,000,000 contributors.    
 
“Thanks to the 1 million people who have now contributed to our campaign and the more than 8.6 million people who have supported Hillary Clinton with their votes,  we have the resources we need to continue to run a strong campaign all across the country and a nearly insurmountable pledged delegate lead,” said Hillary for America Campaign Manager, Robby Mook.  “With the majority of our fundraising coming from grassroots online donations, this campaign continues to gain momentum and feed off the energy of millions of supporters across the country.”
 
Clinton brought in $30,127,234.96 in primary donations through Hillary for America and the Hillary Victory Fund (HVF) in February of 2016.  Additionally, she raised about $4.4 million for the DNC and state parties across the country through the HVF.

Hillary for America Raised $15 Million in January, Began February with $33 Million Cash on Hand

Today, Hillary for America (HFA) filed its February monthly FEC report covering the month of January.  The report shows that HFA began February with about $33 million in the bank after raising more than $15 million in primary contributions in January, thanks to 70,000 new
contributors for the month. Part way through February, Clinton now has more than 750,000 contributors.    

“We’ve seen a surge of grassroots donations that are powering this campaign and ensuring that we have the resources we need to win a competitive primary and be prepared to take on the Republicans in November,” said Hillary for America Campaign Manager Robby Mook. “We’re grateful to the thousands of new grassroots donors flooding into this campaign every day who are standing up to help elect a president who can make a real difference for families and build on the progress we’ve made under President Obama.”

Clinton brought in $15,131,497.06 in primary donations through Hillary for America and the Hillary Victory Fund (HVF) in January of 2016.  Additionally, she raised about $5 million for the DNC and state parties across the country through the HVF.  

Clinton raised roughly $4.2 million in January in contributions of $200 or less (unitemized directly raised to HFA and unitemized allocations from HVF), and more than 60 percent of the campaign’s contributions for the month were from women.  The average donation in January was about $62 and 98 percent of donations were for $250 or less.
