HENDERSON ANNOUNCED AS SOUTH CAROLINA CO-CHAIR SUPPORTING CARLY FIORINA

New South Carolina Co-Chair Cites Carly’s Successful Business Experience

GREENVILLE, SC – Today, South Carolina State Representative Phyllis Henderson announced her endorsement of Carly Fiorina for President of the United States.  Henderson currently serves as the Deputy Majority Whip and Finance Chairman for the House Republican Caucus in the South Carolina General Assembly.  She has also served on the Board of Women in Government since January 2014.  Henderson will join State Representative Donna Hicks as Fiorina’s co-chairs in the “First in the South” primary state and lead the effort to continue to build support for Carly’s candidacy here.

State Representative Phyllis Henderson:
“Washington is dysfunctional, and it’s hurting South Carolina businesses and hampering our economic growth.  My district is home to a lot of South Carolina businesses, many of whom have been hurt by the Obama Administration’s liberal policies that are strangling economic growth.  The best way to get our economy working again is to have a leader in the White House who understands business.  And that leader is Carly Fiorina.  As the CEO of Hewlett-Packard, Carly doubled revenues, tripled innovation, quadrupled growth, and grew HP to the 11th largest company in the country.  Carly’s prove track record of cutting bureaucracy and challenging the status quo is the best way to cure the Washington dysfunction. I am proud to announce my support for Carly Fiorina for President of the United States.”

Together, Henderson and Hicks join a growing group of Americans nationwide who have been moved to support Carly’s candidacy because of her willingness to challenge the professional political class and take on the status quo. They will help build a grassroots network of support in South Carolina and communicate why Carly’s unique and impressive background is what we need in the next President of the United States.
