Heart to Heart International Deploying Mobile Medical Unit to Republican National Convention

Heart to Heart International will deploy a Mobile Medical Unit and medical volunteers to Cleveland, OH this week ahead of the Republican National Convention in case medical assistance is needed during this highly visible and potentially turbulent event.

“Normally we wait for a crisis and then respond. While we cannot be sure of the medical needs at the political conventions, we are preparing for a wide array of scenarios.  When crisis creates need for access to healthcare, Heart to Heart will always strive to be there.” said the organization’s CEO, Jim Mitchum.

HHI’s mobile medical unit is fully equipped and stocked to provide emergency medical support in time of crisis.  Our experienced volunteer teams are able to treat everything from minor medical needs to urgent care.

In light of all the political and social unrest in recent days, Heart to Heart’s co-founder, Dr. Gary Morsch, suggested that the organization be onsite to help with potential medical needs.  Heart to Heart is best known for its ability to provide rapid medical services in crisis situations.  We will consider providing similar medical action in Philadelphia the following week!
