On the evening of June 30 he celebrated the grand opening of his Iowa headquarters at 3100 100th Street in Des Moines.
On July 1 he held a religious liberty town hall at Main Street Cafe in Council Bluffs; a religious liberty town hall at Minerva's Restaurant at the Marketplace Shopping Center in Sioux City; and a religious liberty town hall at VFW Post 2253 in Cherokee.
On July 2 he held a religious liberty town hall at Best Western Starlite Village in Fort Dodge; a religious liberty town hall at Pepper Sprout in Dubuque; made a stop at the Field of Dreams in Dyersville; and did a religious liberty town hall at The Drake Restaurant in Burlington.
