(Jan. 2014)  Rebecca is the founder [Dec. 2009] and President of Steel Cut Strategies, LLC, a governmental affairs, communications and campaign firm specializing in the representation of clients and candidates with a bent towards social justice. A prominent player in progressive politics in Georgia for more than a decade, Rebecca is known for her focus on women's issues and civil justice and has held positions such as a the Executive Director of the Georgia Commission on Family Violence (2003-05] and the Director of Communications for the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association [2005-10].

Rebecca joined Mad Dog Mail for the 2012 election cycle - but she is no stranger to the firm. She worked with Mad Dog Mail while she managed an Attorney General race and during her successful direction of an independent campaign created to build a voter turn-out model for female judicial candidates. Back in the day, she was a Regional Campaign Director of the Democratic Party of Georgia under the leadership of Mad Dog Mail's founder, Jon Anderson.

In addition to representing the environmental, healthcare and violence against women causes at the state capitol, Rebecca has spent years spearheading the fight against anti-choice legislation for the Feminist Women's Health Center. She has managed several campaigns including the Democratic Party Victory Fund's Georgia Women Vote, the Georgia Women Vote Action Fund, an Attorney General race, and she has provided crisis campaign management to Georgia WIN List, a group dedicated to electing Democratic, pro-choice women. Additionally, last cycle, Rebecca was the Director of Communications on a successful environmental statewide referendum.

Rebecca is married to Garrett DeHart and they happily reside with their menagerie of rescued pets.

Conor Owen Casey has over a decade of experience as a campaign manager, organizer, fundraiser and advocate.

Growing up between Ireland and the United States he developed a deep appreciation for worker's rights and political activism at an early age. Conor received his B.A. in Media Arts at Emerson College in Boston and completed his M.A. in Communications at Dublin City University.

After returning to the States, Conor worked in the press office of Senator Edward Kennedy prior to accepting a position with the Vermont State Employees' Association. As Political Director, Conor saw VSEA through some of its most difficult years during the recession and managed to pass some of the strongest whistleblower protection and anti-privatization laws in the country.

He has worked on countless campaigns on every level and most recently served as Political Coordinator for the Connecticut Education Association, the largest union in the state, representing over 43,000 classroom teachers.

He has twice been elected Vermont Justice of the Peace and has served on the executive and state committees of the Vermont Democratic Party.

In 2013, Conor was honored by the Irish Echo as one of the top 100 Irish in the labor movement to commemorate the centennial anniversary of the Dublin Lockouts.
