RNC Chairman Reince Priebus Announces National Press Secretary

WASHINGTON – Today, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus announced that Allison Moore will serve as RNC National Press Secretary for the 2016 cycle.

“We’re excited to welcome Allison to the RNC as our new National Press Secretary. She brings with her a wealth of experience, most recently serving as Press Secretary for Leader McConnell’s successful reelection campaign,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “Allison will be a great addition to our Communications team, and working with Sean Spicer, I’m confident she will help us take the fight to Democrats throughout this presidential election cycle  while effectively communicating the values and priorities Republicans share.

“I want to extend my sincere thanks to outgoing Press Secretary Kirsten Kukowski. She has been with us from the beginning, since we started rebuilding the RNC in early 2011. She’s a talented, non-stop worker, who has ably guided our outstanding press team through two election cycles.”

“Allison is a battle-tested and proven communicator, whose experience on both the campaign trail and Capitol Hill will be an asset to our team,” said RNC Communications Director and Chief Strategist Sean Spicer.

“America is ready for a break from the Obama agenda, and I look forward to helping our party communicate a new vision for the future during the presidential campaign,” said Allison Moore. “It’s an honor to come aboard at the RNC, and I look forward to working with our committee, our department, and, of course, the national press during this election cycle.”

Allison Moore most recently served as Press Secretary on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s reelection campaign. Previously, she served as Broadcast Communications Advisor for the Senate Republican Communications Center, where she had also worked as Deputy Press Secretary. Her experience also includes work as an independent consultant for the NRSC.
