RNC Chairman Reince Priebus Expands Hispanic Media Engagement With New Hire

WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus is expanding the party’s minority engagement efforts with the addition of Izzy Santa, who will join the RNC as Hispanic Media Communications Director. Izzy will join Hispanic Media Press Secretary Alexandra Franceschi to help amplify the party’s efforts to connect with the growing Hispanic community on the ground and in the media.

“I am excited to announce that Izzy Santa will join the RNC as Hispanic Media Communications Director,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “To earn the trust of more voters, it’s essential that Republicans communicate our shared values with the Hispanic community—values of equal opportunity, hard work and the importance of family and community ties.

“Izzy and Alexandra will also work closely with Deputy Political Director and National Field Director for Hispanic Initiatives Jennifer Sevilla Korn to strengthen our relationships with Hispanic voters as we look toward the elections of 2013, 2014 and beyond. The RNC will continue to work with the national and local Hispanic media to ensure the GOP message reaches every voter.”

Izzy Santa most recently served as Communications Manager of Industry Affairs at the Consumer Electronics Association. She previously served as Deputy Communications Director in Ohio for Governor Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign, Communications Director for the Ohio Republican Party, Communications Director for Congressman Bob Latta (R-OH), Media Relations Manager for the Cato Institute, and Communications Manager for Hispanic CREO. She was born and raised in Puerto Rico.
