Waiting for President Obama to arrive.  He was held up at the White House where he made a statement on Ukraine.
In his speech Obama declared, "Our job is to rebuild an economy that grows for the many, not just the few; an economy where working Americans feel secure in their jobs and their homes and their finances.  Our job, not just as Democrats, but as Americans, is to restore opportunity for all."  Obama highlighted education, equal pay for equal work, and raising the minimum wage, and then he devoted several minutes to defending the Affordable Care Act.  "As Democrats, we’re going to keep working to make this law work even better, and we’re going to keep working, family by family, and block by block, and neighborhood by neighborhood, on campuses and in churches, to get more Americans covered with the economic security and peace of mind that quality, affordable health insurance provides," he said.
At one point a demonstrator in the back of the room shouted out, "Tell us about your plans for nuclear war with Russia!"  Obama responded, "I don't know anything about that plan.  (Laughter.)  I don't know what you’ve been reading.  (Laughter.) Let me return to what I was talking about.  (Applause.)  See, he thought happy hour started earlier.  (Laughter and applause.)"
