Jan. 22, 2014-Despite freezing
temperatures the 41st March for Life
drew tens of thousands of pro-life activists from around the
country.
The theme of this year's march was adoption.

She even read a tweet from Pope Francis, "I join the March for Life in
Washington with my prayers. May God help us respect all life,
especially the most vulnerable." |

House Majority Leader Eric
Cantor (R-VA) backed by members of Congress, announced that "next week,
the House will vote once and for all to end taxpayer funding for
abortions." |

U.S. Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ),
sponsor of the "No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act," referred to by
Majority Leader Cantor. Congresswoman Vicki Hartzler (R-MO) also
spoke.
