The Star-Spangled Spectacular will bring tall ships and festivals to Baltimore's Inner Harbor area from Sept. 10-16, 2014, including a concert and fireworks display on Sept. 13.  More generally the anniversary celebration is providing an opportunity to highlight the history of the region and communities around Chesapeake Bay; for example, various activities are planned along the Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail, a 560-mile land and water route established in 2008.
