March 25, 2014 - The U.S.
Supreme Court today heard oral arguments on whether for-profit
corporations must provide their employees with health insurance that
covers birth control, as required by the Affordable Care Act
(ObamaCare). A number of businesses are seeking religious
exemptions to the so-called "contraception mandate." While the justices heard
arguments in Sebelius v. Hobby Lobby
Stores, Inc. and Conestoga
Wood Specialties Corp. v. Sebelius, supporters and opponents of
the mandate demonstrated vigorously outside the Court even as a Spring
storm dropped a light but steady snow.
