2014--President Barack Obama and French President François
Hollande participate in a joint press conference. President Obama
emphasized progress in four areas: global security including Iran,
Syria, Israel and the Palestinians, and Mali; exports and creating jobs
including work on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership;
climate change; and global development including poverty in
Africa. He also announced that he will travel to France in June
for the 70th anniversary of D-Day. [transcript]
